Weekly Wrap-up for the week of 7/3

Welcome to the Weekly Wrap-up! A new segment we’re introducing as part of MacThemes 2.0, the Weekly Wrap-up will show off the staff’s favorite new themes, icons, walls, and screenshots each and every week. For people who don’t have enough time to weed through the forums every day, or for those who might have missed that great new icon release you keep seeing in screenshots, this is for you. As a general guideline, we’ll be showcasing one new theme (new or modification), one icon or iconset, two walls, and one screenshot in each wrap-up, though that could change if a week presents us with too many outstanding creations to single out just one or two. This week, we’ll be featuring two new themes, two sets of walls and two new iconsets, as well as one screenshot, as there was a bit of a mix-up and we missed a few weeks.

But does it achieve elegance through its originality?

Aqua Inspiriat Released

Aqua Inspiriat
Resident Themer StefanKa has released his new theme, Aqua Inspiriat. Described in the forums as “the offspring of Aqua and Canum”, Aqua Inspiriat makes use of dark blues, soft gradients and iTunes metal for a beautiful new work that belongs among the ranks of other blue themes Canum and Vitae. Top it off with two variants, Aqua and Graphite, along with an extensive 21 appskins, and that makes Aqua Inspiriat well-worth the download.
